TempTraq® is a wearable Bluetooth continuous temperature monitor presented in the form of a soft, comfortable, single-use patch. This patch is capable of sensing, recording, and transmitting body temperature continuously for either 24 or 48 hours via Bluetooth® 4.0 (LE) to an iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod touch® with Bluetooth 4.0 technology, running the TempTraq app. Users can leverage TempTraq Connect to share local patch data in real-time with other users utilizing the TempTraq Connect app over an internet connection.
The TempTraq patch is an integral component necessary for the proper functioning of the app. Classified as a Class II FDA cleared medical device, TempTraq is exclusively available for purchase within the United States, as is the TempTraq app for download.
TempTraq offers a unique solution for allowing a child to rest undisturbed during illnesses marked by elevated temperatures. In doing so, parents can be assured that their child's temperature is being monitored without intruding on much-needed rest.
TempTraq Patch
The TempTraq patch is designed to be worn with the sensor placed in the armpit area, measuring axillary temperature. TempTraq captures under-the-arm "axillary" temperature and processes this data into an oral temperature, which is conveniently displayed in the TempTraq app.TempTraq App
The TempTraq app presents an intuitive and user-friendly interface for reviewing the temperature data transmitted from the patch:- Displays current and historical temperature data from the patch
- Can monitor multiple patches assigned to different children
- Facilitates sharing of patch data with other TempTraq Connect users
- Utilizes color codes to signify different temperature ranges:
- Green – below 100.4° F
- Orange – equal to or greater than 100.4° F
- Red – equal to or greater than a user-defined alert temperature
- Offers temperature readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Triggers alerts on the smart device when the temperature exceeds a user-defined threshold
- Presents temperature history over the 24 or 48-hour patch duration through graphical and tabular representations
- Empowers users to input notes regarding medication, baths, feeding, and other relevant events
- Enables exporting of temperature data via email in .csv format
The TempTraq app is compatible with iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad devices equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) capability, running iOS 12.0 or later.
